Who is this for?+
Two consenting adults — a married or committed couple — who already share a strict-wife dynamic and want a calmer, clearer way to run it day to day. It's not a place to find a partner.
How do we sign up?+
There's no signup. The wife generates a pair ID and a shared key inside the app and gives them to her husband out-of-band (in person, or however you'd normally share something private). That's it — no email, no password.
What happens if a phone is lost?+
Because the encryption key only lives on your devices, a lost phone means losing access from that device. We're designing recovery options that don't compromise the zero-knowledge model — more on that closer to launch.
Will there be social or community features?+
No. StrictWife is two people only. No discovery, no public content, no groups.
Is it free?+
Version one ships with no payments and no subscriptions. Pricing decisions, if any, will come later and be communicated clearly.
What devices will it run on?+
Native apps for iPhone and Pixel-class Android devices, with a small web presence (this site). The full experience lives on the phone.
